Hamburg SV winger Xavier Amaechi is set to extend his loan with Bolton Wanderers.

The former Arsenal prospect is currently with the Trotters on-loan to January.

However, BILD says talks have commenced between the two clubs about extending the stay to the end of the season,

Amaechi has managed just six appearances for the League One outfit, though his time has been blighted by a metatarsal injury.

He is tied to HSV until 2023.
