Despite defeat to Aston Villa, Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson found positives in another goal scoring contribution from Johan Elmander.

He said: "Johan showed again he is a good finisher. That's five goals for us now. He's amazed at the amount of criticism that has been generated towards him and our football club for signing him.

"But I see about six or seven others who cost a hell of a lot more than what he cost who have got a record nowhere near as good as his."
