Burnley pair Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears are in the sights of Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle.
The News of the World says former Clarets boss Coyle has already left a bad taste in Burnley fans' mouths by taking a 'sideways step' to Bolton.
But now he will leave them positively furious by prising two of the brightest stars away from Turf Moor.
Bolton would not even have to sell any players to raise the cash for the £4.5million-rated duo.
And the deal looks likely to be even cheaper for Wanderers, with talks involving a part swap for the club's right-back Joey O'Brien underway.
