Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle isn't surprised Liverpool are watching young South Korean winger Lee Chung-yong.

Bolton's South Korean star Lee, 21, has been linked with a £5million switch to Anfield.

And Coyle knows his player will be a superstar one day - but must bide his time.

He said: "It won't surprise me that huge clubs like Liverpool would be interested in a player of that standard.

"It doesn't surprise me if a club like that has looked at him, but there's been no dialogue. He will continue to get better and is capable for playing for the top clubs.

"But he knows at the moment he's best served here, developing and getting better. Hopefully we can make him an even better player."
