Bolton boss Coyle insists Ward stays

Owen Coyle says Danny Ward will remain a Bolton Wanderers player.

Ward finished yesterday with Swindon on the losing side in their Championship playoff defeat to Millwall.

Coyle is hoping to run the rule over him in pre-season after receiving some encouraging reports.

"When I came to Bolton, Danny was already out on loan getting that experience and it's clear to see that he has benefited considerably from it," he said.

"He has obviously grown in confidence from having scored goals down at Swindon and playing in a winning team. That can only be good for him, and good for us. "
