Bolton boss Coyle has Holden target for pre-season whilst Lee may play this campaign

Bolton manager Owen Coyle suggests that Stuart Holden will be all set to go for pre-season training whilst Lee Chung-yong may still get some playing time this term.

USA midfielder Holden has been sidelined almost all campaign because of complications by a knee injury, which he initially suffered in March last year, whilst South Korean winger Lee has not made an appearance after breaking a leg last summer.

As the end of the 2011/12 season is in sight, Coyle says that Holden will run out of time to play again this campaign but indicates that Lee could still be involved.

"We are hoping that Stuart will be available for the first day of pre-season training, ready to make that impact that he already has again next year," Coyle said.

"Lee Chung-yong continues to get better - he has done some light training on the grass on his own.

"My hope would be - and he needs continued improvement for this - that he can join in my training with the group in a couple of weeks' time.

"Then, if that is the case, we would need a couple of reserve games and I'd be hopeful that he might be able to be involved before the end of the season."
