Bolton boss Coyle admits plans to sign striker on-loan

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle admits he's seeking a new striker loan signing.

Coyle is searching for more firepower and, with a deal for Chelsea's Daniel Sturridge looking unlikely, he is also eyeing up some of the other young strikers desperate for a Premier League platform.

"We've been very fortunate that our opinion has been vindicated in the past, and hopefully it can be the same if we do it again," he told the Bolton News.

"I was laughing watching Barcelona the other night and seeing Thiago Alcantara score twice because he's a player I tried to sign on loan last season.

"It's always nice when you place your faith in these young players and they go on to blossom, as Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge have done. If there's another one of that ilk out there, then I'd love to get them to the football club."
