Bologna young gun Diawara subject of frenzied interest from Man City, Juventus, Valencia…

Amadou Diawara is emerging as the one of the most highly sought-after players in Europe.

The 18-year-old defensive midfielder impressed in Serie A for Bologna last season, making 34 league appearances, and has attracted interest from all around Europe.

There are a number of clubs keen on the Guinea teenager with Premier League sides Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and West Ham United all credited with a significant interest.

Italian powerhouse Juventus plus Napoli and Roma are also on Diawara's radar as are Spanish side Valencia.

According to the Corriere di Bologna, only Valencia have made an offer anywhere near the £11.6million valuation of him with Los Che reportedly having a bid of around £7.8m rejected.

It is expected that the other clubs mentioned will lodge offers for the former Calcio San Marino youngster with City the latest to be linked.
