Manchester United are eager to secure Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are very keen to sign a center forward to ease the burden on Rasmus Hojlund.

While they have FFP issues that would prevent a January move, United will pounce in the summer window.

Per Sky Germany's Florian Plettenberg, a move is very likely to happen if United offer the money that Bologna want.

Speaking on Sky Sports News he said: "He's definitely on the list of the Red Devils, he's a potential summer transfer target.

“Manchester United were keen to sign him this winter but Bologna made it clear that he is not for sale in January.

"But he can leave Bologna in the summer with a release clause of around €40m."
