Bologna chief Di Vaio insists Ibrahimovic AC Milan impact overblown

Bologna chief scout Marco Di Vaio believes the impact of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at AC Milan has been overblown.

Di Vaio famously flew to Los Angeles in an attempt to sign the Swede before he committed to Milan in January.

He told ETV: “I haven't seen him in particularly good shape lately, then there's also the economic aspect to consider.

“At the moment, it [the transfer market] is not in our thoughts and there's not much to look at."

But the former striker was happy to see the Rossoblu players back in action on the training ground.

“It did us good, our players have regained confidence after a long quarantine period and have presented themselves in good shape.

“We all want to resume the championship; we have no worries or fears of risking the infection. We were lucky because Bologna is a city that has handled the emergency very well."
