Bologna boss Alberto Malesani criticised AS Roma's tactics after last night's defeat.
Malesani was not expecting Roma to be so defensive at the Stadio Dall'Ara.
"We put in a good performance again today, but Roma did well to close all the spaces and we were inefficient in the final third," he said.
"I expected the Giallorossi to be more attacking, considering the difference in quality between the squads. Instead they clammed up in their own half and played on the counter.
"I must compliment their psychological approach, as they looked very fired up and concentrated. If we were unable to make our chances count, it is also down to their efforts."
