Real Madrid are keeping track of Sergio Araujo's progress at Boca Juniors.

The 18 year-old has broken into Boca's first team this year and been linked with a move to Europe.

Real are comfortable with the situation as they have first refusal on the youngster as part of their deal for Fernando Gago.

Araujo confirmed: "It is true that they have that option and I'm flattered, but first I want to show with Boca that I have the ability to play for Madrid."
