Blaise Matuidi has announced he's extended his contract with Juventus.

The midfielder was due to become a free agent this summer and had been linked with a return to PSG.

But Matuidi announced on Sport24 last night: "In my contract there was an option for another year and Juventus has exercised it.

"I have never had doubts about it, I feel the trust of everyone."

Matuidi has collected 30 appearances, one goal and two assists so far this season with Juve.
