Blackpool still in the market for Swansea striker Dobbie

Swansea striker Stephen Dobbie has had two successful loan spells with Blackpool, gaining promotion to the Premier League with the Seasiders in 2010 and making the play-off final last season. Seasiders boss Ian Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette: "I just love him.

"I wish I could go and wrap him up and bring him with me now, but life isn't that easy, it doesn't work that way."

Holloway added: "That isn't my chairman's fault, it's just life - he belongs to Swansea."

And Dobbie believes Holloway deserves to be managing in the Premier League.

Ahead of the friendly match between the two sides, Dobbie told Swansea's official website: "I really hope Blackpool can get back up to the Premier League because that's where the manager belongs.

"He has all the attributes and deserves to be plying his trade in the top flight."

Dobbie added: "Tactically he is excellent and gets his points across well.

"He knows what areas to exploit to win games and the players respect him and want to play for him."
