Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has swapped adulation with Tottenham's Harry Redknapp, saying the Spurs boss would do a great job with the England national team.
After Redknapp said Holloway could be this season's Manager of the Year, the Seasiders boss returned the sentiment by backing his White Hart Lane counterpart to succeed Fabio Capello.
"We'll have to leave that to the powers that be, but I for one would love to see him in that chair," said Holloway ahead of Tuesday's league clash between the sides.
"I think he can handle it and I think he'd get our players to play the way his clubs play - with a great deal of attacking prowess.
"He seems to get the best out of everybody, which you need as an international manager.
"People like Harry get the best out of everybody and I think he will always do that, and keep doing it.
"It's amazing that he is now doing it at one of the top clubs and I think they are very fortunate to have him."
