Blackpool have moved to trump Preston for Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck.
The Daily Mail says the 19-year-old striker is due to return to Deepdale after injury cut short his last loan spell.
Darren Ferguson will be hoping his father Sir Alex will do him a favour but the prospect of Premier League experience may sway a deal in Blackpool's favour.
