Blackpool defender Baptiste: No fallout from Adam, DJ clash

Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste has played down the ruck between teammates DJ Campbell and Charlie Adam.

Boss Ian Holloway has no concerns about the incident - putting it down to how much both players care - and Baptiste is similarly relaxed.

"These things happen in the changing room. The amount of arguments we've had in the past couple of weeks you could count on both hands," the centre-back told the Blackpool Gazette.

"But we are all in the same boat, pulling in the same direction.

"DJ wants the best for the side, so does Charlie. They all want the best for Blackpool. It happens and that's the way it is.

"If you are arguing it shows you care. DJ felt he should have taken it and, to be fair, if Charlie had missed the second one even I would have had a go at him! We all would have killed him, never mind DJ! But what character Charlie showed to want to take it, and DJ was the first to congratulate him. These things happen in football.

"In training it has all been forgotten, and we are all getting on with preparing to try and beat Bolton."
