Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston says they have no influence on the decision-making of Thomas Ince.
If Ince, off contract next month, moves abroad, Blackpool will be due very little in compensation.
The winger is in talks with Inter Milan and Oyston told Sky Sports News: "It's largely been outside of our control and has been for quite some time.
"Tom will decide, along with Paul (his father) where he will go and where his future lies.
"I'd say it won't be here, he'll either go abroad - which has already been all over the press - or he'll remain domestically."
