Blackpool manager Simon Grayson admits they were beaten by Hull City for exciting Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell.

Grayson told the club's official website: "The list has been endless of who I've spoken to and what players I've enquired about and ultimately all the clubs are after the same players.

"We tried to sign Fraizer Campbell from Manchester United and he went to Hull.

"Whether we were too late in or whether it was done a while ago I'm not sure but I can only ask the question."
