Blackburn Rovers striker Benni McCarthy insists he's settled at Ewood Park.
McCarthy told The Mercury: "There were issues about whether I am going to stay or leave. Things get said. But I don't want to pay attention to it. What matters to me is how I feel about myself. Come Saturday we'll see if I am unfit or overweight.
"If you don't play every week, you will lack some match fitness. Since the English Premier League campaign started, I've only played in two games as a substitute.
"I haven't played since the game against Australia because of a groin injury. It was not serious, but I was advised to rest for 10-15 days. I have been training lightly and recovering."
