Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen is eyeing Carling Cup glory.
Pedersen, 30, insists Steve Kean's current side are desperate to follow in the footsteps of the club's stars of yesteryear when they return to the Welsh capital to face Championship outfit Cardiff in a quarter-final tie on Tuesday night.
Norway winger Pedersen, who joined the club in 2004, said: "I know all about the history of our club and they won the Carling Cup just before I came.
"It was a big moment for the Blackburn fans and players and there is a big picture at Ewood Park. It would be nice if we could do that again.
"Cardiff have been doing well in the Championship and it will be a tough game. But I think we can do it. Beating Cardiff would put us one step closer as everyone wants to go to the final."
