Blackburn Rovers want to buy Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley this month.

The Mirror says Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is lining up a £1.5m deal for Cardiff midfielder Joe Ledley.

Allardyce will move for Wales international Ledley, 22, if he manages to raise funds at Ewood Park this month.

Ledley is out of contract at the end of this season and any deal will go to a tribunal as he is under the age of 23.

Cash-strapped Cardiff rejected a £6m bid from Stoke nearly 18 months ago but are resigned to losing the playmaker this month.
