Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean must beat Manchester United to keep his job.

The Daily Star says Kean avoided the sack last night, despite Rovers crashing to defeat at home to Bolton to leave them rock bottom of the table.

The under-fire Scot returned to his family home in London and held crisis talks with the club's Indian owners via video-link.

He was handed another reprieve, but Venky's told Kean he must mastermind wins at Manchester United and Liverpool to save himself from the sack.
