Bodo Glimt youngster Anders Karlsen is set to receive an offer from Blackburn Rovers after successful trials.

Karlsen was recommended to the Ewood Park outfit by Ernst Pedersen, father of Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen.

He told Avisa Nordland: "I thought it went pretty well. I arrived straight from three to four weeks' vacation and the club knew that.

"It must mean something that they've asked me to come and I'm hoping for a contract."
