Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes won't allow Ryan Nelsen to take part in New Zealand's international games against Fiji.

Hughes said: "The guy's not fit so it's not practical that he goes.

"It's not as if he's playing and we are pulling him out with a tight hamstring just beforehand.

"It's well documented that he's got a problem with his hamstring at the moment."
