Blackburn Rovers are moving for Juventus centre-forward Luca Toni.
The Mirror says Rovers boss Steve Kean is trying to sign Italian World Cup winner Toni.
Kean is in talks with veteran hit man Toni who can leave Juventus on loan for the last year of his contract - and Rovers are trying to agree terms on his wages.
Juve will let the 34-year-old hit man go as he will not be in their side, but he would be a surprise and imaginative capture for Blackburn who have struggled to land targets this summer.
Toni is willing to come to England and now it is down to how much of his £60,000-a-week wages that Rovers are prepared to pay.
