Blackburn Rovers' owners deny they are in a cash crisis.
Rovers fans are concerned over their lack of spending so far this summer.
Venky's, though, insist there is no need to panic, as co-owner Venkatesh Rao told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Money is not a problem, the problem is miscommunication and the rumours have led to this situation, for which I am very sorry.
"We want to run it as a company, very systematically. On spending, we are very much meticulous and we want to do it positively."
