Blackburn Rovers captain Christopher Samba says difficult questions need to be asked after defeat to Stoke City.
While Sam Allardyce's men would be near the top of the Premier League going on first half performances, their second half displays would leave them rock bottom.
Samba told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I don't want to see it like we go bad in the second half, I don't want to see it like that.
"I don't understand though because at the moment we seem to keep giving a goal away in the first 15 minutes of the second half.
"At the end of the day we have to give ourselves questions and see if we are coming into the second half in the right frame of mind.
"We are starting the second half by giving away a cheap free kick and it just went on and on until the goal. It is really disappointing because our strong point is the defence.
"We are tough in the defence but that was such a cheap goal.
"A draw would be deserved but we got punished because that was their only real clear chance. There was nothing really in the game."
