Blackburn boss Kean wants ex-Sunderland coach Black as new No2

Former Sunderland coach Eric Black is wanted at Blackburn Rovers.

The People says Rovers boss Steve Kean wants Black as his new right-hand man - but faces a fight to land him.

Kean lost his old No.2 Paul Clement to Carlo Ancelotti's Paris St Germain but has now put respected coach Black at the top of his wishlist.

His fellow Scot is available after leaving Sunderland when Steve Bruce was sacked and he could be interested.

Black has the type of credentials that would help Kean, whose lack of experience has been held against him in his year-long reign at Ewood Park.
