Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean remains confident of the support of the club's owners.
Rovers have won just three of their last 21 league games and co-owner Venkatesh Rao made it clear results have to improve.
The fact his brother Balaji came out and backed their "brilliant manager" at the same time underlines the chaos behind the scenes at Ewood Park.
Kean said: "At the meeting I had with them in India, both those messages were made clear to me.
"One of the family has said results have to improve and I would echo that - they do. We know we need to climb the table and quickly.
"If you don't win games there will be criticism but the owners have backed me. The meeting was just the same as all the others.
"Whatever has been said, I've always had the group backing of the owners."
