Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean insists his summer signings will prove their class.
He is confident that the summer’s signings will continue to improve, claiming we are already seeing signs of progression from the majority.
Kean said: “I think they are improving and getting to the pace.
“When you buy players from different leagues it does take them a bit of time. Rado is improving, Simon is getting a taste of it.
“David Goodwillie has been a bit unfortunate and will get there. Jordan Slew has unfortunately been cup tied for the Carling Cup, which he would have played in.
“It will take time, like it did for Ruben Rochina and Mauro Formica.
“It takes a bit of time.
“But as younger players that have continued to develop it is obviously harder for them because we are buying potential for the future.
“When they start showing everyone what they can do they will prove to be good signings but it is hard because it is from a totally different angle they are coming into the club.”
