Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri states he had no desire to leave Birmingham City mid-season.
The youngster, who is only 20, is at the club until the end of the term.
However, there was a chance he could have gone back to United in January, but Mjebri admits he was against that option.
“To be honest I was focused on my season with Birmingham and kept working. I left the other things to people who are in charge of this," Hannibal told the Birmingham Mail.
"I said [after Christian Eriksen's injury] 'maybe' but to be honest I said 'maybe' for 30 seconds and after I kept working. If they call me back I [would] see what is better for me, but I think playing is the most important for me.
"I am looking forward to the rest of the season now, hopefully I can keep going like this."
