Birmingham City midfielder Lee Bowyer says he's adjusted his game as he's become older.
He has had an impressive second half to the season after being in and out of the side before Christmas.
And far from being 'too old to be taught new tricks', he admits he has adapted his game to the stricter rules.
He added: "Last year was probably the first year I've gone without a suspension. It comes with experience.
"When you're younger you just think you can win every tackle.
"Now I know you can't go to ground, the rules have got stricter - and I've had to change my game to cope with the rules.
"Years ago when I first started you could have three or four but now it's one and you're booked."
