Birmingham's Clark impressed by Arbroath striker Doris

Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has been happy with the form of trialist Steven Doris.

The Brum have brought the Arbroath striker on trial after seeing him score in the Scottish Cup draw with Celtic last month and Clark has indicated he is a big fan of the 24-year old.

"We've been impressed by Steven," he told the Daily Record.

"In technical terms he has come down and shown us what he did against Celtic and he was very impressive that day."

Doris, who joined Arbroath in 2009, has scored 11 goals in all competitions for the Scottish Second Division club so far this season.
