Birmingham City are struggling in negotiations for Fulham fullback Paul Konchesky.
The England cap is a target for Brum boss Alex McLeish, who has already failed with a bid since the end of last season.
Fulham are willing to upgrade Konchesky's contract to convince him to stay.
