Birmingham boss Chris Hughton is delighted with the return of striker Nikola Zigic from injury. The 30-year-old made his return from injury with a substitute appearance in the 2-0 Carling Cup defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday night.
He said: "Nikola Zigic has missed an awful lot of football and it's great to see him back for 30 minutes.
"Keith Fahey is just back from an operation. I was tempted to give him a little bit longer but he's one we have to be mindful of.
"Marlon's missed an awful lot of time as well.
"I think it will also take Marlon a bit of time to get fully up to speed but it's of course an exciting prospect to see big Ziggy up there in whatever combination that we have.
"We've got Adam Rooney, who's a lad who's worked very hard, and it's just about getting the best combinations that we can and of course that's with big Woody (Chris Wood) missing as well."
