Birmingham City are ready to hand Demarai Gray a new contract.

The Birmingham Mail says during the January transfer window Blues turned down five bids from Bournemouth for the talented attacker, the last one a whopping £5 million on transfer deadline day.

And having beaten off the Championship leaders' interest Blues now intend to recognise just how far the 18-year-old has come.
