Skysports.com reports that Birmingham are lining up a move for Charlton's Amdy Faye.

Faye endured an indifferent season at Charlton last term as he struggled to hold down a regular place in the side.

Charlton are facing a fight to keep hold of all their stars following their relegation and they could be willing to offload Faye.

Former Newcastle and Portsmouth man Faye is believed to be keen to return to the Premier League and is interested in a move to St Andrews.
