Birmingham City are set to sign Manchester United midfielder Hannibal Mejbri.

Hannibal Mejbri is set to join Birmingham, says the Daily Mail.

The Tunisia international featured in United's defeats to Liverpool and Crystal Palace last season and has yet to carve his way into Erik ten Hag's first-team plans.

Birmingham, who have only scored three goals in the Championship after six matches, have held talks with United in an effort to lure the 19-year-old to the west Midlands on loan.

The St. Andrew's chiefs are keen to bolster John Eustace's squad with attacking midfielders in the hope of creating more chances for first-team strikers Troy Deeney and Scott Hogan.
