Birmingham City boss Steve Bruce will focus solely on landing West Brom midfielder Jason Koumas after dropping interest in Baggies teammate Diomansy Kamara.

Baggies have already rejected a joint £7m bid from Fulham for the two players, and knocked back a £3m Brum offer for Kamara, 26, wanting £6m.

Bruce is not prepared to be held to ransom over the striker but still wants midfielder Koumas, 27.
