Birmingham City chief Karren Brady has raised the prospect of smaller Premiership clubs becoming feeder teams for the elite.

"There was a chat about feeder clubs inside the Premier League, so one day links between Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers may be official," confirmed Brady, chief executive of Birmingham City, to the Daily Mail.

Lower division clubs actively court feeder agreements with established Premiership teams, though the prospect of two top-flight outfits working together is new.
