Birmingham City boss Harry Redknapp has scoffed at talk of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere joining Aston Villa.

Redknapp has laughed off speculation Villa could sign Wilshere.

The Arsenal midfielder was linked with a move to Villa Park earlier this month.

“People are trying get Jack Wilshere obviously," the Birmingham City boss told ITV Racing. “I would love him but he won't come to the Championship.

“Aston Villa are supposed to be interested but he won't come to the Championship."
