Birmingham boss Clark not looking to sell Redmond, Butland

New Birmingham City manager Lee Clark insists the club is not about to sell young guns Nathan Redmond and Jack Butland.

18-year old winger Redmond is being heavily linked with a move to West Ham United whilst 19-year old goalkeeper Butland is attracting attention from a number of Premier League clubs but Clark says only massive bids will pry the pair away from St Andrew's.

"Nathan Redmond and Jack Butland are two fantastic young players, Peter [Pannu - acting chairman] has already come and said that only 'eye popping bids' - I mean crazy bids - would be accepted," he told Sky Sports.

"It would take big, big numbers, huge numbers.

"I'm saying to you now that those lads will be part of the group that starts the season, because they are two fantastic young players."
