Birmingham accept George Hall will move to Leeds

Birmingham City accept George Hall will move to Leeds United in 2023.

The Blues are willing to let the 18-year-old go in the January transfer window to secure the necessary funds to pull current Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Dion Sanderson to St. Andrews on a permanent deal.

The Daily Mail says Birmingham accept that Hall's departure to Elland Road is 'inevitable' but will still put up a fight for his services.

It's believed that they recognise he still has more than a year left on his contract and are open to offering him a new deal with the promise of more playing time in the future.

Hall has started just five times for the Blues this season but has made numerous substitute appearances in one of which he found the assist to Scott Hogan's equaliser against Burnley in October.
