US billionaire Mark Cuban is being linked with a takeover of Aston Villa.
The Birmingham Mail says Cuban is a 56-year-old self-made billionaire who made his fortune selling video portal Broadcast.com to Yahoo for $5.7 billion in 1999.
As the owner of NBA team Dallas Mavericks, Cuban has a history of running sports teams.
He purchased the struggling club in 2000 and as well as helping them turn around their fortunes he built a new stadium and improved other facilities.
