Mika Biereth insists there's no comparing him with former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.

The young Gunners centre-forward is currently on-loan with RKC Waalwijk and away with Denmark's U21 squad.

On the comparison, Biereth said: "Yes, I have seen that. There is a lot about it on the internet and on social media with the comparison between him and me. However, it is not something that I take too seriously.

"He was actually at the training facility last year. I think he was filming a documentary or something. So he was over at Colney and yes, we talked a bit.

"It wasn't so much about advice. We just talked about life, so it was a short conversation."

Biereth also told Bold: "The ambition and goal is to become a regular at Arsenal. This summer we decided that the best solution for me would be to go on loan and get some proper experience and come back in the summer and see where we stand.

"I think it is still the same plan. So when I come back we will sit down and discuss what the next steps are."
