Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa has sung the praises of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola has declared Bielsa is a coaching idol of his - and the feeling is mutual.

Bielsa told SFR Sport: "Pep Guardiola is, in my opinion, the genius of the last decade. Because he created a system of unparalleled beauty.

"And what has the world of football done? Instead of copying Pep, they said to themselves, 'how to cancel it?'"

Bielsa is understood to be in talks with Leeds United this week.
