Kalmar have rejected bids from Heerenveen and Valenciennes for midfielder Rasmus Elm. The 21-year-old is also interesting Everton but only Dutch outfit Heerenveen and French club Valenciennes have submitted formal bids for the Sweden international.

Club chairman Johnny Petterson told Expressen: "I can confirm that only two clubs have made an offer, but they were both rejected.

"Everton are also interested, but they haven't made an offer yet. I expect more clarity next week."
