Wolves defender Christoph Berra is delighted with his decision to leave Hearts last year.

Berra, who joined Wolves from Hearts last season, is enjoying his career in the top flight with Wolves.

"The season before Mick (McCarthy) wanted to sign me but Hearts didn't want to sell me, " he told the Birmingham Mail. "But I think they needed some money last year and it was down to me whether I wanted to go and I wanted to go.

"I'd been at Hearts a long time and they had done great things for me, but I just needed a change of scenery. I needed a new challenge in my life and I am happy here now."
