Italy coach Marcello Lippi is being linked with Leonardo's job at AC Milan.

Studio Sport says comments made by Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi in the wake of defeat to Manchester United "Milan are a great team that did not play well" is serving as a warning to Leonardo.

Lippi will leave his Italy post after the World Cup and will be available to return to club football.
